Ambient/attitude adjustment lighting

Question for those with the ambient/attitude adjusment lighting: Is yours dimmer in the center of your dash vs the sides? Mine is noticeably weaker/dimmer in the middle, and I am wondering if it is intentionally designed that way to maybe be less distracting in your central field of view OR if I have a light out/bulb defect in the center.

You can turn the ambient lighting completely off but it is all on or all off, doors too.

I saw your post a couple days ago and waited to respond until I took a look again. It doesn't seem to be specifically dimmer in the middle for me at all-- but during the day the sunlight DEFINITELY overpowers the strip that runs along the dash, even on cloudy days.

If you are only seeing this during the day it is probably just the sun, but if you notice it at night, then maybe try changing it to different colors to see if it's just one of the colored diodes that is out.
