I saw that hood and thought about it as well. But I also want to get the Fratzog Stripe. Ghost black with purple pin stripes. So I think the hood would take away from that. In the engine bay I am 100% getting purple charge pipe tubes. And powder coating the metal pipes and brace.Agreed it looks so much better with the cover off. I'm a little scared to remove mine for two reasons:
1. I have heard that the cover works to block some of the fuel injector "ticking" sounds.
2. I am strongly considering swapping to the carbon fiber hood with the functional air intake and I don't want to leave anything unprotected.
I would be very happy to be talked out of keeping it though
Now we just need an aftermarket option for that aggressively plastic air intake pipe...
That's definitely going to make it look even betterI saw that hood and thought about it as well. But I also want to get the Fratzog Stripe. Ghost black with purple pin stripes. After market is going to explode I think. After all the awards they got I bet people start looking at them seriously. I do really want the front side fenders though. They better be real pass through! That's definitely going to make it look even better
I agree, I don't think stripes/decals work well with carbon fiber hoods. I wasn't even a big fan of the stripes they had on the purple car that they showed the hood on. I just want that hood as plain carbon. It would look good with stripes if it was just a regular painted hood with the intakes though, I'm sure that if they don't offer it soon, then we'll at least get some aftermarket options shortly.
