I got it yesterday and already have 142 miles on it

Scat pack 2 doors plus /sued and carbon ,20x11 wheels , alpine 18 speakers , black top

For context , the cars I got over the last 12 years ( mostly short lease )
2014 charger rt , 2016 charger scat pack , 2018 challenger scatpack shaker ,2019 charger scat pack ,2020 Audi s5 , 2021 charger scatpack wide body , 2022 genesis gv70 3.5 and until yesterday 2024 genesis g80 3.5
Let not forget the 2024 mustang dark horse that I did buy and sold back after 10 days :-)

My likes
I love the. Color ( destroyer gray )
While the interior is not Genesis level of refinement ,it is the best dodge interior I ever had and it fit the car spirit nicely
The 18 speakers system is nice , might be as nice as the Genesis one ( I am not really an audiophile )
The power is very impressive
The sound is much better in person , video do not do it justice
Handling is better than any dodge I have previously driven , especially at high speed
Styling is really nice ( better in person than in photos )
The Hugh trunk space and back seat room
The turn signal camera on the big screen ( actually better than the genesis )
The big font on the head up display
All the cameras with clear picture ( I hated parking my previous scat pack with big nose , low lip and no front sensors as the bare minimum )


Dislike
Nothing so fare ..just confusion
May be somebody can shim in ?

I do not seem to be able to get my door puddle light to turn on ( is there a menu option some where ? )
App digital key ? Do not see the option in the app ( only for EV ?)
No track node ?
Can we play movies when the car is stoped ? is there some sort of media player ?

Thank you for any input you could provide

What does the "digital key" do? Is this different from the old U-Connect? Isn't it just called the "Dodge App" now? This was not designed for the track, so I never saw anyone ever mention that. All the track mode did was stiffen the suspension and hold on to each gear longer (like a manual). I never saw any media player mentioned ever for this.
 
There is no digital key, yet. It is listed as a feature coming. I had one for my Elantra. Its the ability to use your phone as the key for the car. It was nice if I ran out to the car but forgot my keys. I never trusted it enough to drive with it and not my keys though.
 
Its also an actual "card" in your phone. I am speaking from an iPhone. Not sure what it looks like for others. So its independent from the dodge app. Although I suspect you will need the app to download the card. I never used On Star so not sure how similar they are.

Could you guys confirm that you have puddle light in your cars ?
Is the feature to turn off all wheel drive only available after 500 miles ? I do not see anywhere
 
I do have it! I did notice it only on super dark places though. So during day or well lit areas you will not see it. IT comes from the side mirrors and has to be triggered from a light sensor somewhere on the car.

It was on the car I test drove and it only had 25 miles or so. It was on the same screen with the drive modes and had to be in sport mode.

yes .. you are correct .. faint light from the bottom of the side mirror

funny . i do have the insert in the door there is just no lightbulb in there

i found the answer for the puddle light !!

there is a button in the ceiling console .. to turn them on/off .. weird .. but now they work :-)
 
Oh yeah, I just remembered about the garage door thing on the visor! Odd place, huh??????
 
"I think the home link buttons on the visor are much nicer than the ceiling center."

@2026AfterDark agree.. in teh genesis they are under the rear view mirror .. feel kind of weird
 
Speaking of the home link, on my 2018 Ram and 2020 Chrysler 300, the home link worked intermittently, I called in and they said it had to do with LED lights interfering sometimes.Hmmmm
Now on my 2023 Ram and 2025 Wagoneer the home link works all the time. Obviously it had nothing to do with LED lights and it was something in their software because I still have the same lights, so they changed something.
And I had 2 different openers, Sears and Genie.

Another small dislike
The cup holder are too big for a standard Red Bull can


Guess who did have to drive 20miles with the liquids content of a full can slushing around in the cup holder cavity :-)


Did order some clips from Amazon that should resolve the issues

I saw a YouTube clip where a car dealer spilled a drink all over the inside and around the cup holder. It so happened to be a can of Red Bull. :LOL:
