Lowered Suspension

Anyone get or planning to get the Mopar lowered suspension (77073045AA) for this car? Would love to see some pics of what the car looks like with that installed.

Agreed. Looks like it may not be available yet, but according to Mopar Insiders it is coming this spring.

Totally understand. Lowering is usually one of the first things I do to my cars as well.... that and exhaust usually. And wheels.

I'm debating doing this at some point. I've never really been interested in lowering my cars but this one does sit a little higher than I'd like. I'm chiming in here to +1 for pics and reviews if anybody picks up the Mopar springs

I saw a YouTube video a week or so where a guy had lowered his Daytona about an inch. I tried to find it for you but I couldn't. It was a short with a clickbait title
It looked nice. I'm 85% sure I'm going to do this, but it's going to be a next summer thing for me. Gonna see how I'm feeling after this winter.
I have been feeling like I'm driving an SUV lately and I think that inch will make it feel a lot better.

The reason I traded in my Durango 392 for the Charger 6 Scat is because the AWD meant it can be used in Winter.
Lowering it would negate it's effectiveness in that regard, so I plan on leaving the ride height stock.

I can definitely appreciate Winter effectiveness, but I rock my '18 Charger 392 in the snow and it does pretty good (as long as I'm super soft on the throttle ). AWD would make it even better, even at the same ride height. A lower ride height definitely limits the depth of the snow you can get through, but I wouldn't say it negates the advantage of AWD.

I had an AWD '15 charger as well, put a set of snows on that and it was great in the winter, and we get some nasty winters here. Drove it as my only car through 10.5 winters and only got stuck once when it snowed about 4 feet overnight and I left it outside.

The Sixpack rides an inch higher than the old models, so I'll just be back to where I started, theoretically.

Understandable, everybody is going to have their own preferences. I've driven a number of SUVs in my day (including a Durango) and I just hate feeling like I'm sitting on top of something rather than inside it.
The extra height is definitely nicer in the winter, or if you need to park in some uneven grass. I'm sure at least once during my Sixpack's lifetime I'll be cursing myself for lowering it

I would prefer not to do as theses stupid cement wheel stops they have in parking at various business can be dangerous, yes we do have the cameras up front but you really have to watch the camera and you have to come to a complete stop to get it to activate. The front spoiler will at times ride over the blocks but not all the time. Have fond some higher than others. Just one less thing to worry about by not lowering. Later RJD

They must make the bumpers/curbs tall around here. I don't think my front end will clear much of anything and it isn't lowered yet.

A pro tip for the surround camera: you can put a button for it at the very top of your screen by customizing which apps are up there. I replaced the Alexa icon with a surround camera button. You can still only activate it at low speeds, but it's much faster than waiting for it to turn itself on.

I had my mustang lowered and a front lip and I cleared everything around here, was not a concern, it’s just a massive wheel arch gap atm
