whatever with the copperhead going to be out of my price range and sounds like GLH will see less power than the Charger.
Do you think the Charger SRT that is planned is going to be a V8 or a HO Hurricane paired with an electric motor?

I'm thinking V8 in the copperhead and HO Hurricane hybrid in Charger SRT. From what I understand is the Sixpack is built off the Daytona frame and has the space for a bunch of batteries still. Thats why the trunk floor is so shallow.

I don't know if they'll do it but I think a hybrid Hurricane HO would be amazing if they did a hybrid like the Koenigsegg Gemera. If the EV's aren't selling this seems to be the way to go. Call it the Banshee still. ICE engine for the rear wheels, and an electric motor for the front wheels. I do think it has the space for the batteries.

Yea thats what the Copperhead is for and I'm going to think the GLH might get the Hurricane 2.0. With the battery storage already available a Hybrid HO Hurricane would make sense giving consumers 4, 6, and 8 cylinder performance engines. With the hybrid Hurricane matching what a lot of high end performance cars are moving to as well. Covers the market

Fun to talk about but I'm not interested. Had 2 Hellcats (one Redeye). Lots of fun but zero traction, no matter how much you spend on tires. I'm actually enjoying this car much more.

I'm assuming that if they put the Hellcat in the '26 model, then it's going to have AWD. Especially if they're going to name it "SRT"
It would be silly if the ScatPack out performs the SRT on the track. It's gonna need traction. I'm almost certain the SRT is going to be some form of upgrade to the Hurricane. Probably just bigger turbos.

Copperhead might be RWD? They slapped the wing on it to keep some traction? Unlikely, but I'm just guessing. Maybe they're putting the Viper V10 in it since it has a snake name

Been watching some youtube vids when a bunch of influencers went to the Ram Rumble bee reveal, a V8 sounding Charger flew by them in the van on the way there and the youtubers said it was an obvious teaser. With that being said it is probably going to be the Hellcat in the SRT.

Read where some folks that drag race with the I 6 had boost the hP to 850 by ditching both turbos and installing just one after market one. No other mods made to the vehicle plus no mods to engine. If that's the case one need not install the Hemi and plus you have AWD for traction Later RJD

Been watching some youtube vids when a bunch of influencers went to the Ram Rumble bee reveal, a V8 sounding Charger flew by them in the van on the way there and the youtubers said it was an obvious teaser. With that being said it is probably going to be the Hellcat in the SRT.

I heard about this as well. But I also heard there was and SRT "hemi" Charger Trackpack in their lots. Then someone found the specs and it was a Hurricane. So I wonder if it was the Hurricane just with a tune and better exhaust? Guess only time will tell.

Maybe Stellantis will be re-entering GT3 racing with the Copperhead. GT3 has been seeing huge jumps in money and fans even before this past Verstappen weekend.

They didn't have a strong enough AWD setup to handle the power. They stopped putting AWD in the Hemi cars back in 2016 because the old AWD system couldn't handle it. The sixpack AWD can definitely handle more power but I'm not an expert on if it could take hellcat power or not.

It was the transmission difference. You could get AWD with the Hemi until the much larger 8 speed came along. That was the end of AWD with the Hemi in a car.
