Underneath the Six Pack View

Not sure how I feel about the aluminum spacer between the subframe and chassis. She points it out at 2:55 mark in the video. I guess that's what happens when a vehicle is both gas and EV platform.

Part of me thinks it's pretty impressive they were able to engineer it. Another part thinks why do that? Just have two different ones.

Some guy did one too and I was amazed at how much is covered up compared to even my HC. They must have done that for top speed.

Im always amused by the people who expect a charger to drive like a M4. The previous generations NEVER did. The views of the "Battery dead space" were interesting, that's a trade off baked into the platform design and a good part of the weight penalty. For the 2023 Charger GT is shows 4200 lbs for AWD and 4073 lbs for RWD for a much lower capacity AWD system.

Yes, OR comparing it to the Darkhorse!

Well with the Darkhorse or Mustang in general expect the comparison to that to be common especially among Auto journalists etc. With the Camaro no longer being produced those two are the only cars of the big three left that they will compare heavily to each other. The Darkhorse and the Sixpack Scatpack Charger I have seen compared the most out of any other car probably due to price and power ratings.

In terms of American nameplates, the Charger really is in a class by itself in my opinion. If considering ONLY high horsepower vehicles in the 50-60k price range, the Mustang is the only other one. The similarity really ends there.

The Charger is roomy, practical year-round AWD daily driver. It has an upscale level of content and refinement. It is available as a four door family sedan. None of these things apply to the Mustang.

I fully agree but I see the comparison still happening anyway which is just weird to me as well.
