Wassup yall, new to the forum. Coming from a 2023 Charger Scat Pack Plus NB. Just a few general questions about the new sixpack and transitioning.
1. The main thing im taking note of when watching reviews is people saying that from a roll the new sixpack takes a while to pick up in speed/power, how noticeable and/or true is this in reality? Im still used to the old scat catching speed pretty fast after the pedal hitting the floor so I was just curious
2. Anything anyone noticed (good or bad) that stood out to them from coming from old gen scat to new gen sixpack scat? Really trying to get an idea of what to expect because im having my doubts here and there based on reviews
3. Whats yall MPG currently? In my old scat i averaged 16-19 in the city (i dont drive too crazy)
4. Anything I need to pay more attention to maintenance wise coming from a V8 to twin turbo I6? Had my old scat for almost 3 years and besides oil changes and tires I never had ANY issues. No check engine lights, weird smells, hemi tick, anything. I custom ordered it and it was perfect
5. How bad/good is the stop and go? Tend to accelerate semi fast from a red light and I was wondering will that be an issue. Ill prolly try to remember to turn that off tho just in case tbh
6. Should I be worried about break in? Ill be flying out to pick it up and driving around 500+ miles back and i read you dont wanna stay in one gear for break in nor drive over 70 mph and ill be on the highway ofc. I picked up my last car maybe 30 miles away and break in was simple

I ordered twice from 2 different dealers, ones scheduled and ones waiting to be, cant wait to see it in person. 4 door bludacris, carbon and suede, demonic red, plus. Preciate any feedback

Hello and Welcome!
I will answer these as best I can for you!
1 - I had a 2015 v6 so no comparison to Hemi, but its got power when you need it. If you keep the RPM's in the mid to high 4 the turbos are spooled and ready to go.
2 - Sorry didn't have a scat before this. :(
3- I sit at 20 even when playing around.
4- Just for any turbo car you will want to let it warm up from a cold start a bit longer so all the oil can get through the turbos as well.
5- I personally hate the start/stop so I just turn it off every time I get into the car. They have a very convenient button for it.
6- With that long of a drive right away I would not use Cruise control the entire time. Try to stay under 70, it's hard with this car. If possible do more side roads just to give that variation. Once your past 500 though I wouldn't worry to much.

Hope this helps! If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer them the best I can!

I mostly have the same opinions as Zaccity on a lot of these, so I'll just chime in with some extra info on a few of them:
1. They might be talking relative to the Hellcat. This car will smoke a hellcat off the line, but from a roll the Hellcat can keep traction (kinda) so it loses out to higher HP rear wheel cars.
2. I also am coming from a '15 pentastar, but the good upgrades are the new interior is amazing, and the car honestly feels lighter because of the sway bar in the rear and the strut tower in the front. I always wanted to add these to my previous Charger, they needed it. The bad: auto stop/start does not belong on this car as a default setting, and the touch buttons on the dash are awful. I am going to do everything in my power to remove these two things when I can.
4. Just as Zaccity says, let the OIL in the turbos warm up. You can drive when the coolant hits temp, but don't hammer on it until the car is fully warm and the oil reaches temp (around 190 I think?).
5. Are you talking about the auto stop/start here? It is frustrating. The car is way too loud to just have it shut off at a stop light. It feels embarrassing. Tbh I'm sure it functions fine, I know the mechanics behind how they work but I've never let it start my engine back up for me, I always turn it off. If I ever get stuck in traffic I'm sure I'll turn it on, but otherwise no thank you.
