So I have a scat pack and when I got it home I noticed there was a Mopar parts box in the trunk with SRT style performance pedals (metal with rubber grips).

Was the dealership supposed to install these before I took delivery? Currently just have basic pedals.

I haven’t received my car yet. However, looking at my build sheet, “BRIGHT PEDALS” is listed.

My friend, in Grok say....

BRIGHT PEDALS(listed on Page 6 of your 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack build sheet)
This is the bright aluminum sport pedal kit.

What it means:

  • The accelerator pedal and brake pedal (and the dead pedal on the left) are finished in shiny, polished aluminum instead of the normal black plastic or carpeted pedals.
  • They have a bright metallic look with a textured grip surface so your foot doesn’t slip.
  • It’s a sporty, premium upgrade that matches the high-performance interior (black leather/suede seats, red stitching, etc.).

Why it’s on your build sheet:

It came with the Leather/Suede Performance Seats package and the overall performance theme of the Scat Pack. It’s not a separate paid option — it’s standard when you order the full performance interior on the Scat Pack.

In my other Dodges, they were just loose in a box.

The kit that is shipped with cars is p/n 82219241AB does not include the pad for dead pedal. You would have to order p/n 82219148AB in order to get all 3 petals.

Dealer should install but on my 2016 they where not. Later RJD

They were in my trunk as well in a small box im going to wait till the rubber gets alittle worn to change them out.

You will be waiting awhile for that to happen and then they may not fit as well. Later RJD

Can you post a photo of what these pads look like?
Here is a thread about them on Daytonaowners.com

should be one for gas and brake peddle.. Later RJD

There's a You tube video on others attaching them on earlier models. You warm them in hot water so they're more flexible.

Never had to do that with mine. Later RJD

Does anyone know if these just sort of snap on and are an easy low risk install or should I have the dealer do it? I saw a few videos of people snapping these on for the older chargers.

Same here dealer installed. Later RJD
