Digital Key?

Just picked up my Scat Pack Plus in Bludacris yesterday, its beautiful. But I was going through all the features and was trying to figure out how to set up digital keys but couldnt tell if its not out yet or im missing something. Also apparently the car comes with a NFC card for the digital key but i didnt get one from my dealer. There was an empty plastic bag that said something along the lines of "keep in car for customer" in the center console if thats important. Any insight?

FWIW, that is (has been) an ongoing discussion on the Daytona forum. My car came with the key card, but it is (was?) vaporware. Totally non-existent feature. Dodge actually changed the wording on the build sheets for car AFTER they were delivered. There was a statement from a Dodge tech that possibly an update was coming to enable that "feature" but that was at least 9 months ago, and nothing since.

Yes I am confuse too. I got my Dodge app setup and I can remote start with my IWatch but I did not try out anything without the key present

So you have an iPhone, correct? They never said the Phone as Key would work with Android (I have Android), but the damn key card SHOULD work. But they deprecated the whole thing. AFTER I bought my car. I was under the impression that the 2026 cars would have it working, but apparently they never succeeded. I suppose it is some legal/patent thing. I can make guesses, but that doesn't help anyone.

Yes, I have an iPhone. I can look through the orange bag to see if something like a digital key is in there. I thought this worked through the Dodge app well aI scanned the QR code on the owners manual for the digital key and it shows another option to the right on the Dodge app that isn’t there. So maybe an update for the App Store is needed??

Yep when I had the Dodge ev it came with the key card but I never tried to use it. Gave it back to them when I turned the car in. Later RJD

Thanks for the replies, glad to know I wasn’t tripping. Kinda sucks cause the idea of giving the digital keys to close family/friends sounded cool. Or the off chance that I’m in a rush and forget my keys

In the app, "Digital Glovebox", is just a way to get owners manuals and information on your phone. That has nothing to do with the Digital Key.
