White Knuckle Daytona Scat meets White Knuckle Six Pack Scat

I'm just going by what it states in the owners manual as per the manufacturer's instructions, the one's who are actually warrantying the vehicle: "Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km)." "A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle)...

What are you getting for 0-60 times on the car's Performance Pages?

Which Caddy V are you referring to? They make several V series (AWD & RWD). If RWD, what was your launch rpm using TC? Could you do 3,000-4,000 rpm launches with TC? My experience with high hp RWD cars is TC was iffy at best. It either bogged the car off the line or allowed too much wheel spin...

If we're talking Charger Scat Pack vs. Durango 392, let's look at C&D's 0-130 mph times for the two: 2026 Charger Scat Pack / 0-130 mph 15.6 sec 2022 Durango SRT 392 / 0-130 mph 23.2 sec Now let's step it up and throw the Durango Hellcat into the mix: 2021 Durango Hellcat / 0-130 mph 16.0...

@rossage Yeah, that's truly a moot point. Well, just because someone believes something is a "moot point" doesn't mean it's a moot point. Let's be honest. Nobody who wants a performance car would be unhappy if it got better mpg. That just wouldn't make any sense. Of all the dozens of high...

Yup, pretty much the only way to get that feeling in a high hp RWD car is with slicks. (or rear engine placement like the Vette and Porsche) "Because some of the power numbers they're quoting for this new hemi ... insane ... and I'm being told sound ... OHHHHH INSANE!" Well, I'm guessing the...

What are you getting for 0-60 times on the car's Performance Pages?

Thnx guys! The few times I tried it with my Durango 392 it ran 4.6-4.7 in 60-70 deg weather, 4.9 once in 90+ deg weather (best was 4.2 once in 30 deg temps). The owner's manual for the Charger says break in is 300 miles, so I'll be coming up on that soon.

What are you getting for 0-60 times on the car's Performance Pages?

I'm approaching 300 miles on the odometer and would soon like to see what 0-60's (with and without launch control) she can get. What numbers have you guys got and in what kind of temps/elevation/etc?

Difference between 275s and 305s for straight line performance?

Sorry, no. I don't have any more info! I just met the guy that one time, but if I ever see him again I'll make sure and ask him for details.

They are fun, and that comes from someone like me who's owned more V8 muscle cars than most people can shake a stick at. After having spent years driving/racing RWD muscle, and then getting my first AWD car (used 2014 Taurus SHO) I was sold. No wasted traction. I never looked back. Getting a...

Difference between 275s and 305s for straight line performance?

If I remember correctly, they guy with a 2 door Daytona I spoke with the other night says he turned an 11.39 so your 11.4 seems spot on.

Nice.👍 Wait, why are we talking about mpg in Scat Packs? Lol I've got 230 miles on my car, does the pcm restrict power on 3.0L HO Hurricane until you reach 500 miles? The only time I got single digits (~9 mpg) with the 392 Durango was in Winter when I was warming it up. But yeah, I used...

Love it. And not just the performance, at the gas pumps too! My Durango 392 got ~15 mpg, and so far I'm showing ~20 mpg for the 6 Pack/Scat Pack. Driving about 1,000 mi/month, that's a savings of almost $100 month at current fuel prices.
