Does anyone know if there are any alignment or suspension changes that are required by installing the factory 305 tire/wheel combo on a car with factory original 275’s?

If you get the right wheels with the correct offset like the factory ones, nothing at all.

The car doesn't know what wheel/tire combo is on it!

Well that's not entirely true. The ECU is programmed to figure out MPH and MPG based on the correct tires. So if your throw something not "standard" on it you will get the wrong MPH/MPG.

Im new on this forum. I’m not an idiot and have several vehicles where tire and wheel size do require alignment and or suspension changes to factor settings. Please do not assume that just because this is an all new vehicle and forum that members are newbies or novices in automotive technology.

I understand that, but if they are the same diameter, it's all the same.

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much difference at all, I would think if you can slide your hand around the inside of the tire without hitting upper control arm, they would fit. I just looked at mine, and seeing the diameter is a little smaller on the 305, and the 305 is only 1.2” total wider, .6” in both directions, I can fit my hand around the back of the front tire.
I wonder if there’s a difference in the wheel offset from the 10 to 11” wide wheel?

Yes, to keep it the same, the offset will change depending upon the wheel width. Any wheel place that offers these will list the offset also.

There’s a few issues to consider
At least for my 16 Road and track Swapping the 275/40/20x9.5 in place of the original 245/45/20x8 fit like a glove since I used OEM hellcat wheels. Since both tires are the same overall diameter/ revolution per mile the speedometer is the same. Even different brands of the same size will have different measurements, like shoes
Second issue is the AWD system, I’m assuming that the front and rear tires need to be extremely close to the same wear. You have to replace all 4 tires on a Subaru. I’ve not confirmed this yet for the charger

I did a little research at Tire Rack and found this. 9" wheel = 35MM, 9 1/2" wheel = 30MM, 10" = 50MM. Someone needs to look on an 11" wheel for the offset then.

I'm ready to pull off one of my wheels and take a peek, the wheel codes will be somewhere and I can confirm if the wheels are cast or forged.

Also the Widebody Scat/Hellcat guys are running 315 tires on the stock 11" wheels with no issues other than a bit of road sand blasting since they stick out a touch. Up to 325 would still officially fit the 20X11 but the factory bumped that to 11.5" with probably a bit more negative offset to tuck under the fender. The catch here is the EV is likely tolerant of a different diameter rear tire. My Marauder has about 2" taller rear tires calibrated into the Traction control and ABS but no AWD differential to worry about

If you go for 4 equal tires these should fit

The 325/30/20 has a few more options, Michelin Cup 2 available Slightly shorter may help avoid rubbing, but likely needs a custom wheel offset and Front?? Someone else can experiment, those are $800 tires
