I’m a lifelong MOPAR guy and currently own a ‘22 Challenger scat pack shaker 6 speed that I custom ordered in November 2021. I also have ‘23 Chrysler 300 S hemi that I picked up almost a year ago with really low mileage, it’s my current “project car”. My daily driver for the past 7 years is a ‘17 300 S AWD. Speaking of AWD, I got really interested in the new Charger when I heard AWD is standard equipment. 550hp and AWD should be great for some really consistent hard launches. I like the look of the new car, kind of resembles the 1966-67 models. I never really cared for the design of the lx models.
Anyway, the local dealer has 3 in transit right now, 2 base models and a plus trim model. They are listed at MSRP, no markups (yet). I’m tempted to go check them out when they get here, but I don’t know if a test drive is a good idea for me, I can already see myself sitting in a salesman’s cubicle with my check book and title trying to work out a trade-in deal…
