After Dark after detailing

[Lifting After Dark]

Finally got good weather. Did a full detailing of the car including a light clay mitt, seeing that it is still brand new didn't need a full clay bar. Used an Iron remover to get any off from the transport to the dealership. Finished with 303 Graphene ceramic coating. Next time will finish with hydro wax ceramic wax from chemical guys. I also wash with an electric power washer from harbor freight puts out 1750psi its perfect for $80. Comes with a foam soap sprayer as well (not great at foaming).

I do love the After Dark paint.

Ended up raining and hailing later that night no damage luckily and the ceramic did its job. I have now reorganized the garage and it barely fits. Previous house owner moved the laundry room from basement to first floor and built it into the back of the garage. The length of this car barley fits i have to get it within and inch of the wall to fit. Now I got to figure out how to get my wife's car in next to it the widebody doesnt make it easy either.

Length from door to wall? I had a 2000 Cadillac DTS, which was 1/2" longer and it was a squeeze!

I have 210 inches due to the dry vent pipe coming out of the wall as well. Also have to clear the inch for the garage door hinges. Car is 206.5 inches long

I got After Dark as well. Pictures don’t do it justice. The complex sparkles and what not when the sunlight hits it are beautiful. I had a Red Oxide Dodge before, it sort of reminds me of that, depending on the lighting/day looked black or like a dark cherry with sparkles.

Get tints i have another thread with some pictures of my tints makes a world of difference with this color. I got 15% ceramic tints and its awesome. No windshield tint tho for me, I like to see where im going at night.

such a beautiful color! It was my first choice but there were only two in my state!! One didn't have the plus package and the other had over 300 miles on it. They also cancelled this color for 2027, so you have a really special car there. Love seeing it in the sunlight!

thinking about getting mine tinted as well....how dark did you go? Did you do the front windshield or just the sides/back?

I have an appointment for the 13th to get mine done. I haven’t decided if I’m going with 5% or 15% all around. Not doing the windshield though.

Nice! Yeah I'm up in September. Going 20% all around, gets dark here at night.
