Hey all, just joined. Mainly to lurk here to see what common items and issues between the Sixpack cars and the Daytona EVs.
I've had my Daytona well over a year now, and love it. Yep, some issues, but it is a blast to own and drive. I've had MANY MOPARs over the years.
A bunch of Turbo 2.2s, and a PT Turbo, several Minivans, old Slant Six vans, 3 5.7 HEMIs, and a 1 of 1 392 Scat Pack SHAKER Challenger.
I love big cars, learned to drive in a 72 Dodge van, and a 75 Impala, and the new Charger feels like a true "Big American Steel" of old.
FWIW, I've taken my Charger to the strip (Keystone Raceway Park) and ran a 11.4x @ 124 bone stock (of course) including factory tires.
I am the Super Moderator over for the sister car to this at Daytonaowners.com. I am wondering what type of issues these cars share since other than the powertrain, they are basically identical.
Some non powertrain issues we've seen are a lot of people with rear trunk/hatch issues, mainly on cars without PLUS and no remote trunk or ceiling button. Some passive entry issues. Wipers running randomly. Power seat issues. (2 door cars with tilt/move front seat)

Cool. I'd LOVE the option for the internal camera, but nothing yet. Secondly, a lot, and I, are wondering about the "lack" of the real Brembo brakes.

The DXR IS very cool. But only really compared to not having a DXR. The video quality is not great, (audio is!), and the app is buggy. The overlaid telemetry is way cool, but not 100% accurate. Overall it is an awesome toy, and decent-ish feature. It is outdated tech from Cosworth, the same as what is in Corvettes 10 years ago.
A pair of times I used it on Test and Tune nights

Also a video from my son in law with my grandson yelling "Go Grandpap!" in the background.

The brakes on my car are phenomenal, also because they are augmented by the regen action of the motors which can do .3g by themselves. And considering my car, with me in it, is basically 3 tons, every number out of the car is really impressive.
As for the Sixpack, I've only seen one in the showroom. Same car, except a plastic bin under the hood, a LOT of mechanical tech!
I'd love to drive one someday, and see what the AWD vs RWD feels like. I can do that in my car, but only by turning off the front motor, which makes it a dog.

Thanks for registering to post those up, awesome videos @Pioneer4x4 -- also, welcome to the site!

Oh that reminds me. I remember watching videos of this minivan when I was growing up... I seem to remember his slogan was something along the lines of: "When the light turns green this van turns mean" and that always stuck in my head. Pretty cool!

I guess I should add a picture of my car...
It seems all my nice pictures of my cars seem to be at Sheetz, hmm.

Interesting you mention wiper and power seat issues in the daytona. I have experienced odd behavior with both in my sixpack over the past 10 days of owning. The wipers will sporadically go full blast when it's just a light sprinkle. And the seat side bolsters will sporadically adjust when I'm not touching the buttons.

That is why I joined. I suspect MANY issues on the whole hating of the "Stellantis new EV platform" will be the same on ALL vehicles. Awesome designed vehicles, but shoddy testing and software quality. These cars have been tested for over 2 years now, in the hands of customers for 15 months now, and they are still fixing software issues that never should have happened. Sure, horror stories about actual parts failures and unable to diagnose and get replacements, those must suck. But when there are lists of issues that are all fixed by "updates", that irks me to no end.
If anyone wants to know what they may be in for with a Sixpack car, do some skimming on DaytonaOwners.com. A lot of our content would apply to you guys here as well. Some nice graphics pictures, spoiler added to R/T guys. Some body panel upgrades. And a fair bit of stuff like proximity failure, trunk issues, door won't unlock, seats, wipers, map in cluster, other issues not related to actually just driving the damn thing.

well Pioneer4x4 thanks for the link to this site. Be be here now that the ev is gone. Later RJD
