Any Android users having difficulty with your phone not connecting?
Good luck. If you find some miracle cure, let us know. The thing about it is it worked for the first two weeks I had a car then just stopped connecting on its own. Same with the truck. Worked for 6 months then just stoppedHave not tried yet. Later RJD
My S26+ works great too. Don't need AAZero issues with AA on my Daytona for 17 months now. I have Google Maps up most of the time. I use it wireless from my Samsung S25 Ultra sitting on the wireless charger.
The only connection issues I've had with my android happen when I do the following:Any Android users having difficulty with your phone not connecting?
AA will not work if you're running a VPN. That I know for sureThe only connection issues I've had with my android happen when I do the following:
I run a VPN on my phone (Google Fi) and I suspected this was the culprit due to the network switching. Otherwise my phone has no issues with connecting or staying connected while in the car.
- I'm in the car and it's running
- I leave the car and leave it running
- My phone connects to a known wifi network while I'm outside the car
- I get back in the running car and my phone will not reconnect unless I reboot the phone. Sometimes I can get away with just rebooting Android Auto
It actually does with Google Fi's VPN. I will occasionally get an error screen on my phone, but it does still work. I think Google put something in to let AA bypass the VPN-- but when the phone tries to switch networks away from the car it breaks something and it stops working.AA will not work if you're running a VPN. Same here. Worked 2 weeks then nothingI've brought my car in for this and they sent all the info to dodge engineers. That was weeks ago still no answer. My AA worked the last 2 weeks and as of yesterday wont work at all even if its plugged in. Then usually next week itll work again
Give us an update when you get it plzGot a new Samsung S26 Ultra and it still doesn't work. Service manager at my dealership is having a dodge engineer come and look at it hopefully next week. I'm sure it'll be working fine when I bring it in
