Any Android users having difficulty with your phone not connecting?

All the time. AA is really quirky, even on my Trail Boss. That's how I know it's not the vehicle that's the issue. Totally different entertainment system. I tried everything. Reset the entertainment system (hold both buttons for 20 sec), restarted my phone, checked all the settings nothing worked. I gave up. The phone connects just fine, so I'll use all the features on UConnect and the vehicle's nav.. The voice activation works just fine. I'm done with POS AA.

Good luck. If you find some miracle cure, let us know. The thing about it is it worked for the first two weeks I had a car then just stopped connecting on its own. Same with the truck. Worked for 6 months then just stopped

Zero issues with AA on my Daytona for 17 months now. I have Google Maps up most of the time. I use it wireless from my Samsung S25 Ultra sitting on the wireless charger.

My S26+ works great too. Don't need AA

If it makes anyone feel better Apple is no better. Mine often just does not want to connect. Super annoying. But from what I have seen its just how these systems work. We can send a man to the moon but god forbid we connect are cell's to are cars!

The only connection issues I've had with my android happen when I do the following:

• I'm in the car and it's running
• I leave the car and leave it running
• My phone connects to a known wifi network while I'm outside the car
• I get back in the running car and my phone will not reconnect unless I reboot the phone. Sometimes I can get away with just rebooting Android Auto

I run a VPN on my phone (Google Fi) and I suspected this was the culprit due to the network switching. Otherwise my phone has no issues with connecting or staying connected while in the car.

AA will not work if you're running a VPN. That I know for sure

It actually does with Google Fi's VPN. I will occasionally get an error screen on my phone, but it does still work. I think Google put something in to let AA bypass the VPN-- but when the phone tries to switch networks away from the car it breaks something and it stops working.

I've brought my car in for this and they sent all the info to dodge engineers. That was weeks ago still no answer. My AA worked the last 2 weeks and as of yesterday wont work at all even if its plugged in. Then usually next week itll work again

Same here. Worked 2 weeks then nothing
