I immediately noticed that the Sixpack Plus doesn't seem to have the same braking power as my `23 Wide Body had. Then I noticed the Brembos appear to only be on the front. Add the fact that the Sixpack is about 2K lbs. heavier...

What are y'all's thoughts on why only the front wheels got Brembos?

There is only a 400-450 pound difference, not 2,000 pounds. And most of that is probably the AWD system FWIW.

LOL. I just noticed I only skimmed the window sticker and the 6K weight I was looking at was the GVWR.

The widebody came with the dynamics package standard 6 piston/ two piece rotors. The scat/ Handling pkg brakes are seemingly the replacement for the base 4 piston scat setup. EXPECT BIGGER and painted calipers down the road??

Electronic parking brake integration would be the reason, higher end stuff that comes with a Brembo rear usually has a secondary caliper or a drum style parking brake.

We do brembo conversions for the previous generation, we were hoping to figure it out on this one but we may need some more time.

Saw your tag. I can't wait to get the JB4. 650 HP is nothing to scoff at.

But yeah, my WB had 6 pistons up front and 4 in the back. My Sixpack appears to just have the Brembos in the front (I think just 4-piston, but I didn't look closely). The owner's page on Mopar's MyGarae and the sticker page only indicate "High Performance Breaks." Maybe only the front ones come with the Brembo covers.

Maybe swap on some rears from the Daytona with Track Pack. They are HUGE 4 piston in the rear, I think the same 16.1" as the front with the 6 piston.

I'm assuming they may be using ABS or the rear drive unit to hold in park. I've been trying to dig into that.

The EV has a larger "normal" rear caliper, plus another caliper just for parking brake. It is smaller and gray/bare.

Dealer told me rears were brembos too just not painted/covered ones. Not sure if that’s true or not… my sticker actually says Brembo Brakes… but the rears just look like normal calipers.

It doesn’t stop as well as my SRT Durango… and I think that’s a bit heavier… but I’m also not sure I’m used to the new brake by wire setup.
