Is there any other way to close the hatch besides hitting the button or pulling it down manually? Like I wish there was a second button on the right side or if you double tap the key fob it will close kind of thing.

Do you have a Plus car? Remote, button on rear of car, button on inside driver's side trunk, button in overhead console.

Right i do have a plus.....I knkw all that but im talking about (sorry if not clear) about closing it from a different way besides manually and the button on the left side....

Like what? I listed 4 ways, plus manually, so 3 2 additional to what you mentioned. EDITED

1. Remote (Skip that, probably not for safety reasons.)
2. Button on rear of car
3. Button on inside driver's side trunk (you mentioned)
4. Button in overhead console.
5. Manually (You mentioned)

Actually, I don't think you can use the fob/remote to close it for safety reasons (like closing it on a thief's pinky or something). You need to actually be at the car to close it one of the other ways.

One thing I’ll note… these things do not clear a standard residential garage door track in the default open height.

If your garage is shut and somebody opens it, it’ll either damage the lift gate/hatch or the garage door. I suppose the same thing could happen to a lesser degree if you open it while garage is open as well.

When my garage door is shut the hatch is about 2 feet above the garage door track… bonkers.

Every other car with a hatch/lift gate on it I’ve owned clears the door handily.

True, but I don’t think most people will think about it until it’s too late or fails to clear something.

I only took note of it because one of the auto blog reviewers mentioned it.

I guess, why not?
On my Daytona, which applies to the Sixpack, I have very few design pet peeves about this car. Two are related to the trunk/liftgate/Hidden Hatch. One I knew of before I bought it (and still miss), it should have had kick to open. Stellantis has this, my Jeep had it.
The other is that damned push button on the rear to open it. I'm 6' tall, and if I can touch it, I can't see it unless I bend over. And since it isn't centered, you have to feel for it, sliding your fingers across dirty plastic (salty in winter). OR you bend over to look, at night, and since proximity lighting is on, you are blinded by the (awesome) taillight. I am not a fan.
Since that is what I complain about, it shows how satisfied I am overall with the entire car.

Yup, I found that out when I bought the car and tried it.
The Key FOB opens the hatch, but does not close it.

Seeing how I had this on my Jeep Grand Cherokee I figured it was the same on my Charger. One thing don't have to worry about it being in the garage as I have the garaged filled with a Vette and my other Charger. Later RJD
