Anyone turn the car on w/o starting it? I swear mine goes off after only a minute, and I could leave the last Gen on until it killed the battery if I wanted. You need to leave it on for 4 minutes to reset the oil level, but I'll have to hook a charger up to it and try. I know we can adjust the accessory time also. This is the message I see when I turn on w/o starting and it toggles with "Push Brake to Start Car" or something. The battery seems fine also.

I did get something similar when installing my dashcam. I had the car on so long that day (6 hours or so continuous on time) that it kicked in a battery protection mode and shut down at one point. I got a very similar screen to what you have there but I don't 100% recall the message. I started it and let it charge for a good long while after that. I didn't do anything special since it was never flatlined and have never seen an issue since. If you are still getting it after all this time something is up. There are setting in the head unit to adjust things like how long the car stays on after you shut it off and things like that. Maybe there's a setting for your 1 minute thing. Worst case if you think it's the battery level being a bit low causing the early shutdown, you can hook up a charger to keep the voltage up and mitigate that temporarily. If that works, your battery is somehow just weak and likely needs replaced. You should be able to stick a multi meter on it and see what the voltage looks like off vs on and what it looks like when it's flashing you that low battery warning.

Looks like you low battery is kicking it off. Your battery must be going bad. Do you run your car every day? I know Dodge had a lot of issues with that small 12 volt battery. Later RJD

I don't have this issue, I also have a hard wired dash cam and I've left the car on ACC for several minutes a few times now and have never seen this pop up.
My dash cam does not work on ACC though. It powers up and says there is not enough power for it and stays in a low power mode. (It's also a radar detector so it needs juice)
I would assume you do have some sort of issue with either the battery or a sensor. Probably the battery under the trunk floor.

I know you have a dash cam and if you have it hard wire this can be draining your battery. That is the battery I'm referring to. Later RJD

Not ACC mode, but ignition on. My dash cam works when on or in ACC mode. Is yours wired through the mirror?

Yeah I've got the dongar adapter for it.
Not sure exactly what you mean by on without starting then? I'm pretty sure that's just ACC? Ignition on would mean the engine is running.
What I'm referring to is turning the car on by pushing the start button without the brake.

That happened to me as well. Turned the ignition on, not starting the engine. Was messing with infotainment system/vehicle settings, etc. then after maybe 10 minutes received that message. Had the car in the dealer for another issue, told them about it, they checked the battery/found ok, then said I could expect that message with the ignition in that state not running the engine.

When you said, "My dash can does not work on ACC though". Like running, then turning car off and it follows the preset time?
If the engine isn't running but the car is "on" or "ACC" or whatever you wanna call it, then my dash cam turns on but says "low power" and won't actually fully operate until the engine starts. The car doesn't have any issues though, and I've spent several minutes in that state a few times and haven't seen the battery message you showed in your first post.
