I been working on this on and off as I’m always busy with photography and videography then I’m behind my computer making stupid crap! lol but scoop is dope AF. Plan are to tie it into the intake system at some point. This one is made out PA6CF20 which is a Carbon Fiber filament. ASA like to warp a little to much for long items…

Ooo, I love the concept here at the very least. Would need to see it a bit more to be sure, but it looks like it's a risk of ripping off and flying into the windshield lol
I really think this car needs some after market options to replace the silly hood insert though. I'm curious how you managed to get it to look like a carbon fiber weave with gloss on it. It is a sticker or some photoshop magic?

I have seen others remove the plastic insert from the hood entirely. I'm wondering if you could design it in a way that it would attach to the mounts that the built-in plastic piece attaches to? Not a request, just a suggestion to think about if you were interested.
I am planning to swap the entire hood so I doubt I'll do something like this, but I'm keeping an open mind if someone develops a carbon fiber piece that matches my side mirrors that snaps in solidly then I might save a bunch of money and go that route

It’s not going anywhere lol! It’s bolted to the hood from the factory mounts. With the hole in it that will be designed for intake helps restricting making pressure against it. Being PA6-CF20 it’s strong strong strong. It does not even move doing 100. I remove the insert all the way and use same bolts with brass heat sinks into the carbon fiber and then it’s tightly to the hood.
