Very impressed, to say the least.👍
I was surprised the base 9 Speaker Alpine sounds so good.
And I'm not kidding when I say it's louder than the Durango SRT 392 I traded in for.

Sorry neighbors!

Welcome, she’s a beauty (I went with After Dark)! Can confirm it’s much louder than the 392 Durango exhaust setup, a bit more of a Euro sound, though.

Thanks guys.

I just went for my first evening cruise (~30 miles) and all I can say is I'm impressed.
I'm going easy on her 'till the 500 mile break in, she rides nice!

But I have a question.

When hitting the lock button on the key fob after exiting the vehicle, the key fob blinks red.
Does that mean the vehicle is locked? I didn't hear the typical mechanical locking sound coming from the vehicle.
Are the locks really that quiet? Thnx.

Welcome to the site, great color combo. The black wheels look great against the white!!

Yes. Its all electrical. But you can go through the settings in the car and make it honk when you lock it.

When you locked the doors on my Durango SRT, it made a loud assertive thud that all the neighbors could hear.
With this car, literally nothing. No sound at all whatsoever. I'm not used to that.

on another topic ...
I had my music on USB 3.0 flash drives, which this car doesn't have. It only has USB-C ports.
So Walmart obliged and I bought two 64 gb drives for ~$20 ea (smallest they had, you don't need much).
Thnx Dodge! Lol

Like for music to play? Keep us posted since my 2015 was VERY finicky as to brand/type USB drive for music.

The locks are very quite and can not hear however, look at your rear view mirror and if the car is armed you will see a red blinking light on the mirror, When you start to drive the car you will never hear the doors lock, I really don't care for that feature I like it when you can hear it. Later RJD

Like I posted here

These are the ticket, cheap, and you can use Type A and keep it out of the way. Then plug it into you PC for transfer, OR use the adapter and plug it into your phone or whatever.

I've used flash drives that were readily available, which ended up being Sandisk from Walmart.
USB TYPE A/3.0 for the Durango 392, and USB Type C for the Charger:

I got the Dual Drive Sandisk 64 GB Type 3.0/Type C for $22, which has the convenience of both Type A/3.0 on one end, and USB-C on the other.
The 64 GB has the smallest storage space, as you don't need much for music:

As for formatting the flash drive so the vehicle recognizes it drive (otherwise, you get a "read error") I learned that the Windows default option is exFAT.
Dodge's Uconnect system does not like exFAT and I was getting the "read error", so I tried formatting under NTFS and the vehicle recognized it.

Guess what, when I looked out my home's window last night at the car I noticed the red blinking light on the mirror. Lol
And yes, the Durango's loud "thud" when locking the doors was not only pleasing to the ears, it had the sound of durability.
But I did notice that from the inside of the Charger, when you locked the doors a red light appears next to the door's lock button.

Is it really? If so, does it sound as good though? Nice Charger, BTW. Congrats!

Thanks bro! And I don't know, maybe it's just me.
But I've only had my Scat for two days now, and it sure as heck seems louder when starting up than my Durango 392 was!

Cool deal. It's that sensory overload from all the newness, Haha! They do sound nice from what I've heard on sound clips. I was wanting one, still do, sorta. I dig the 392 and miss that visceral sound and feel from the big V8 I had in my Challenger. I ended up ordering a 2026 R/T 392 Durango. I guess I'll put a foot over the fence when Dodge decides to put a 392 in the Charger.

When I drive my 2016 Scat Charger you can really hear the door locks lock. Nice. Later RJD
