Windshield washers delay?

I notice when I push in the button for the windshield washers, it takes a good three seconds before anything happens, wiper movement or fluid spray. Anybody else? Normal?

Normal When I press the button wipers start then hold in for spray. Later RJD

Yeah I've also noticed this, sometimes I just think the button is a little touchy and needs a good solid press and hold
