Saw a utube review video on the scat pack the other day. One thing the guy showed, was when he used the turn signals, the blind spot camera view came up on the center display. Saw in the manual that this is available? But cant find where to turn this feature on. Any ideas? Looked thru utube, and there isnt anything I saw that explained this.

First, it is optional. It isn't on all cars, part of the Plus pack I believe. And it does work nice, but can be annoying if you use maps via uConnect. Whenever you come to an intersection and put on your signal, you loose you view of the map.
In uConnect-Vehicle-Settings-Camera
Turn Signal Activate Blind Spot View This setting will turn the Turn Signal Activated Blind Spot View on or off.

Did you car come with this option. Mine did as it came with the scat pack plus. If you have it It's in your settings. Don't quite remember how to find it but I had that issue also till I found where to turn on or off. I get a chance later to day see if I can get you the info to turn on. Later RJD

it's in the settings menus I think under...safety? And it reads pretty clearly as camera on with signal. I suggest spending 30 minutes going through EVERY setting in all the tabs to see what all is there. You can do it for the car as a whole or you can do those settings just for your driver profile if there are other drivers with different preferences. There's another one for turning on the 360 camera at slow speeds when the parking sensors are sensing stuff nearby and I like that one too. I also have the 360 camera icon/button docked to the top bar and my home screen I use one panel for the shortcuts that are not available easily (deep menus) including the left curb and right curb camera views for parking without curbing wheels. Auto dimming mirror function (why isn't that on by default dodge?), attitude lighting (for my girls to pick their color for the day). A big reason for buying this Charger over the Durango is all the cameras to help with how difficult it is to see out of these blocks of metal they call cars now a days.

I just played with this again over the weekend. And it is a VERY nice view of the blind spot on the highway, and I can see it being useful there. But at intersections I find it less useful, and a PITA when using maps.
If your car has the curb views (which are also amazing), you probably have this option.

Go to lower part of your big screen tap vehicle, then go to top right look for settings. Tap on it it will bring up a menu off to left of screen and you see where you can arrow down till you see camera. Tap on that then pick your side turn view. Later RJD

I DO like the auto camera on when getting close to things like in my garage or at car washes. I tried the turn signal thing but didn't like it.

I use the auto on camera when parking in my tight garage. I figured out a routine that I can safely get in close on the passenger side without danger of hitting. I pull in so my right mirror just misses the garage door opening by a couple inches. That turns on the beeping and camera automatically. Then as my mirror passes into the garage, I turn the wheels towards the right wall until the far end of the steering line on the display touches the wall. Then I slowly drive forward and keep that end of the line on the wall, which requires slowly straightening it out. Then when the left wheel line touches the far wall, I straighten the car out. Nice and repeatable, and stays about 4" from the side of the garage.

Blind spot camera is nice. Would have been nicer if blind spot camera image was available in side view mirrors. Test drove a Hyundai SUV that had that feature. Wound I'm getting a used certified 2022 Lexus GX 460 instead, talk about low tech (bells and whistles) compared to our cars and the Hyundai.

Well if every manufacture had the same options then there would be no need to look elsewhere. This makes you go to different manufactures which is the idea to get you to buy there product. Later RJD

Personally, I'd prefer in the HUD. I find that easier to see without pulling eyes off the road ahead. If you are already looking over at the mirror, the center display is a quick stop for the eyes and less eye movement/time than a full shoulder check or glance at the mirror. Every time I find something new in the HUD it's always been welcome
