Car Shows\Meets woe's

There was a girl near here that had a 2010ish White Challenger R/T, her plate was "Vanish". I saw it outside a parts store, walked in, and said "OK, Who is Kowalski?" The young guys in the store looked at me like I had 3 eyeballs, and said that nobody was named that there. Then the lady working there said "Oh, that's me" Then the guys got REAL confused. It was a hoot, and I had a MOPAR person I could go to for info after that.

Sounds about right. Lol

Anyone else show up to any meets or shows and have to explain to 75% of the people that it is not the EV? I have had more people then I care to say walk up with my hood open and ask why I got the EV or if that's an engine. I think Dodge has not done enough campaigning for this vehicle. Please don't tell me I am alone in this!

Was at a car meetup a few days ago.
I got some interest and questions from an unexpected source, a State Trooper!👮‍♂️
A fine young man, he had an interest in cars and was there with his police cruiser.🚔

Went to another car show today and got some questions from a few people.
It's always the same thing: "Is that the electric"? lol

Some nice variety of vehicles there. I even think I spot a 1967 El Camino.

They had everything at that show. Including ...
A low mile '92 Mustang LX 5.0, an original 426 Hemi Charger, a pristine Corvair, a mid 60's white Stang, and a '26 C8 Vette in the new green color.
And there was also an immaculate 1970's Ford behemoth, 20+ ft long, weighed over 5,300 lbs, had the 460 engine which the owner said got 17 mpg!

I just had my oil changed for the first time. Younger guys at the shop were over the moon to see the car and had nothing but nice things to say. They absolutely loved it! :)
But one of the guys goes "It's all electric isn't it?" and I was just thinking "Dude I'm here for an oil change... This shop only does oil changes" lmao

You should've said "Yeah, it's electric. I'm here to change the fluid in my Turbo Encabulator"
Sigmoid rumbling below the belt line is an awful thing.😂

Guess you did not use your dealer for the oil change? Later RJD

Yup, I also noticed the same thing when he posted it.
All the service for my vehicles are done at the dealer.
I guess that's why folks there did not know about the gas model. Mine are also done at my dealer. Later RJD

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the dealer service department was confused or hasn’t seen one. I think mines the first sixpack to roll through my dealers service department and I know a few CJDRs in my area that don’t even have sixpacks on the lot yet.

Glad to see it’s not just a MN thing. lol! I got to meets/shows at least once a week and it’s always the same thing. “Isn’t it electric?” I have resorted to outing the window stick in a binder for people to see and read for themselves!
