How many people actually use the Tom Tom Nav anyway vs Carplay or Android Auto? The only benefit of built in is (if equipped) getting the turn by turn in the dash. But Google Maps (to me) is far better anyway. Even us with the Daytona and the built in Nav's EV/Charging station functions doesn't make it worth it.

I'd say people that don't use phone navigation at all. I'm a big WAZE fan since using it to UBER for many years. When they say they want to use GPS, I know right away they don't have a clue.......

Isn't Waze on your phone? I guess I don't have a clue, isn't ALL navigation GPS based?

I immediately switched to android auto nav when I got this car and won't look back. Built in nav is nice to have as a fall back, and I guess it's used for the speed limit on the dash when there is no sign, but it's mostly wrong anyway, I wish it used google maps

To me it's annoying having android auto as ever time I get in the car it turns on the nav. I prefer to use my portable Garmin Nav. Later RJD

You can disable this in the settings for the phone (on the car screen).

on your phone find the android auto settings and you can have it remember your last settings for whether it was shown or not. The default is to leave it to the car to decide and that is 50/50 whether it shows my my preferred home page or the Android auto. but changed that setting this morning and it's been fine ever since. To find it just search your phones settings and you will find the area.

Mine is off also. It will be nice to use the bigger screen if need be though.

I can’t use the built-in TomTom map since it’s only the North America version. Here I use the local “Naver Map” application in CarPlay. Waze only works fine on military bases. If I use it off base, I’ll end up cruising along rice paddies.
