New owner questions

Thanks again for all the responses. One more question if I may. I have profiles setup for me and my wife and, I think, have it set to link them to our key fob. It isn’t working though. When she gets in it doesn’t switch to her profile. Is there something I’m missing to get this to work?

Hey, as long as we're talking about this............. The old Gen was a PAIN where you had to release the parking brake lever to move the car w/o starting! THEN, you had to reset that weird thing. Can we move this car w/o being a pain?

I thought it should automatically adjust to each different fob, if set. Is is set in the "SETTINGS" app in the car?

I don't think you HAVE to use the separate keys though. I'm pretty sure the door buttons will switch all of your settings as well as your seat position

What I do al every car ever that has memory buttons is this. My wife is ALWAYS Button #1 and I am Button #2 ever car, every seat (some have memory on both sides, some have 3...), and EVERY PROFILE. So in MY profile, I am still Button #2. So no matter what, getting in any car, even it my wife's profile loads first, I hit Button #2 and I know I can get in! I can't even get in the car on her setting!

Does a screen ever pop up saying something like, "Change to Driver 1"? Mine ALWAYS did until I permanently closed it.
