Power hatch

So with the double push of the remote, my rear hatch opens however when I double push the remote the lights flash but the hatch does not close! I have to push the interior side button to close it. Am I doing something wrong or it’s just dosnt close from the remote?

Yep, (this is in the manual)
You must be at the car to close the trunk/hatch/liftgate for safety. Button in the hatch, or console will work.

It will close with the remote. should work by double push, mine works fine. Just make sure your by the car. Later RJD

Last time I tried closing it with the Key FOB, didn't work for me either.
Opens it, yes. Closes it, no.

Be careful if you're open the hatch in your garage. That thing opens really high default. You can adjust it per the manual.
