While driving home yesterday around 14:00 hrs (KST), the Charger began to update out of the blue. I didn’t think this would happen while driving, especially when it displayed the message “Vehicle should not be driven, and should remain in PARK or with parking brake engaged.” Heeding the message, I pulled into a gas station parking spot and waited. It took about ten minutes to download and a couple of minutes to update.

But dang, software updates while in Drive?

Wow that’s crazy! Why on earth would the vehicle software allow that to happen while driving?
