Throttle House reviews the Charger Sixpack

I watched that this morning. Pretty cool actually. If traction is a problem the AWD really shines. Their “track” is notoriously slippery and the low 10 degree? Temps contributed to it.

I wish they would have done a roll race to take some of the traction out of the equation. Obviously the Hellcat makes the most power but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it seems to be good competition for the Mustang.

Basically on the street this thing is going to be tough to beat. Now imagine a real tune or even a burger box tune. Look out!

They did a roll race. The Hellcat walked them both, obviously. lol

It's going to be a beast on the street with the AWD engaged and tuned to the moon!

The Throttle House guys are entertaining but this drag race is just silly. I don't know much about the Audi but the M4 Competition has a brutal ride, limited room for passengers or cargo and is a horrible daily driver. It is a track weapon for sure. The Charger is almost the exact opposite of the M4.

If they want to compare the Charger to more expensive Germans, they should pick the BMW 540i and Audi A6.

To get a sort-of equal weight, I'd like to see the pother two cars loaded up to near the weight of the Charger. Then, we'll see the effects, of torque, HP and gearing. I mean come on, over a 1000# difference?????

From their latest video comparing to a skateboard

Their latest video comparing it to the M4 and RS3 is a little silly. I like it when they race different stuff but those vehicles aren't in the same ballpark size wise. I really want to see the sixpack go against the M850i gran coupe 4-door that weighs about 4,700 pounds. They even both have the frameless door windows. Or at least run it against something a little more comparible like a 5 or 7 series BMW or Audi S7.
