LOL, definitely not. But I've seen some cheap chinese wheels explode so I definitely would be a bit weary with some at that price range

I saw a set of wheels I really liked the other day and they were $5700 for the set.

The last set of wheels I bought were $4200 shipped but they were totally custom. Things are just getting pricey now a days.

Here they are BTW, they were for my 88 Notchback.

I had an issue with corvette chrome reproductions corroding early from Chinese. We should assess the quality of the finish applied (if any) on the aluminum reproductions.

Really? I've used these on my V's and 2 SRT's for many years w/o a hiccup. The Hellcats have used them on their boards also w/o any bad reviews; other than opinions. Since each set sits for 6 months, I don't need to invest that much in them.

Oh, ok. There's some of the designs on the base model that aren't that good looking either. I'm partial to the Hellcat Slingshot design myself. Very easy to clean also.
