Was at a car meetup tonight when a Daytona Scat of the same color came into the lot!
His name is Joe and we had a great time talking cars.👍

EVs had a lot more issues compared to the sixpack. Later RJD

How’d that fratzonic exhaust sound? The EV is a unicorn where I’m at, so I’ve never had the pleasure or displeasure of experiencing it.

I’ve seen like 10 sixpacks 0 EVs outside the showroom a couple years ago.

Which is why I asked him if he's had any issues with it, and he said no. None

I gotta tell you, once "running" the EV's exhaust actually sounded pretty darn good.
The only odd thing is that the first few seconds of start up (and the last few seconds of shut down) Dodge added a brief "turbine whine" sound.
I'm sure they did it so everyone would know it's an EV. But it would've been much better if they left that out and it went directly into the "exhaust" sound.

That's an understatement, isn't it?????? :(
Early sales had a lot of software issues. And most of them are not EV specific. Once more and more Sixpacks get out there, well, we'll see.
The recall for the screen blanking out is something I've had happening since day one. There have been some cars where the 12v battery died, my guess is because the car itself killed it, or let it die, not because the batteries themselves were bad. Most people have been enjoying the hell out of them even with some software quirks (I sure have!). There are a couple horror stories, which are bad for sure. But I see them on every car site I've ever been on, all brands.

I had a Ford Explorer ST, and shortly after I got it Ford put a stop sale notice on that vehicle.
Seems the backup camera would eventually blank out, and Ford didn't want any potential lawsuits as a result of it.
After months of investigation (including software updates that did nothing) they finally realized it was a hardware problem.

Both cars looking super clean. What's your early opinion on the SixPack?

Love it. And not just the performance, at the gas pumps too!
My Durango 392 got ~15 mpg, and so far I'm showing ~20 mpg for the 6 Pack/Scat Pack.
Driving about 1,000 mi/month, that's a savings of almost $100 month at current fuel prices.

This was from a long trip over the weekend. Almost all freeway miles.

Wow, you have that in eco mode or auto? I don’t have that sort of self control… averaging 17.2 over 2k miles probably 60% sport 40% auto.

That’s some good mileage in the 392. I think I was usually getting high single digits. I like to drive around in sport or track mode because the MDS annoyed me too much.

I tell my wife that the sixpack is basically a hybrid with how much less I spend on gas with it 😂.

My 2016 Scat Pack would average 25 mpg cruising at 75mph going and coming from FL. I doubt I see this kind of mileage on the six pack. Later RJD

Doubt it it as I leased a 24 Scat Pack EV. I was lucky few issues but go back and look what was has happened to the EVs .Replacing rear drives due to failure broken washer bottles, arming issues I could go on and on but you get the pic .
Yes we have some folks with some issues and some issues that I think folks are paranoid due to a new type engine different sounds. I've had my car now for 8 weeks have not baby it and now passed 500 miles and hammer down. Great car. Later RJD

Nice.👍
Wait, why are we talking about mpg in Scat Packs? Lol

I've got 230 miles on my car, does the pcm restrict power on 3.0L HO Hurricane until you reach 500 miles?

The only time I got single digits (~9 mpg) with the 392 Durango was in Winter when I was warming it up.
But yeah, I used Sport mode 95% of the time because of the MDS.

I say you should be able to beat that.

It was probably 50/50 eco/sport. Eco one way sport back. Honestly it seems like sport only takes more gas when coming form a dead stop and when you hammer it.

Maybe because Auto + Eco only has the 300 HP setting?
