Dodge has officially unveiled the limited-production 2027 Charger Super Bee Launch Edition, bringing the Super Bee name into the twin-turbo SIXPACK era with 600 horsepower, upgraded cooling, massive Brembo brakes and a collection of new track-focused features.
Dodge is calling it the quickest, fastest and most powerful Super Bee ever produced. Based on the hardware announced today, this looks like much more than a Scat Pack with an engine tune and graphics.

Compared with the current SIXPACK Scat Pack, the new Super Bee adds 50 horsepower while torque remains unchanged at 531 lb.-ft. The additional power appears to be concentrated higher in the rev range, although Dodge says peak torque now arrives 11.8% earlier at 3,000 rpm and continues through 5,900 rpm.
Compared with the 2023 HEMI-powered Super Bee, the new car has 115 more horsepower, reaches 60 mph nine-tenths sooner and cuts six-tenths from the quarter-mile time.
A More Serious SIXPACK Engine
The Super Bee receives its own high-output version of the 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six. Changes include:
- SAE-certified 600 horsepower and 531 lb.-ft. of torque
- Larger 56mm Garrett turbochargers producing more than 30 psi of boost
- Approximately 7.5% more engine airflow
- Super Bee-specific engine and transmission calibration
- Revised intake, charge-air and intercooler systems
- More aggressive induction, exhaust and deceleration sounds
- Larger rear half-shafts that Dodge says are nearly 10% stronger
- Eight-speed TorqueFlite 880RE automatic transmission
- Premium fuel required
Cooling May Be the Most Important Upgrade
The headline is 600 horsepower, but the extensive cooling work may be the most meaningful improvement for owners who intend to use the car on a track.
Dodge says the high-temperature engine-coolant circuit gains more than 50% additional cooling capacity, while the low-temperature circuit more than doubles its capacity. Auxiliary radiators, revised intercoolers, oil and transmission cooling, new ducting and improved underbody airflow are all part of the package.
The redesigned front fascia delivers approximately 30% more airflow to the main cooling stack. Dodge also claims the revised aero package produces more than 100 additional pounds of downforce at 150 mph.
In other words, the Super Bee is being engineered to repeat its performance instead of producing one impressive run before heat becomes a problem.
Brakes, Tires and Suspension
The supporting hardware is a major step beyond the Scat Pack:
- 16-inch vented Brembo rotors at all four corners
- Six-piston front and four-piston rear fixed calipers
- 27% more brake-pad surface area
- Three times the brake-fade resistance of any other SIXPACK Charger
- 20-by-11-inch forged wheels
- 305/35ZR20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tires at all four corners
- New dual-valve adaptive dampers operating at 100 Hz
- 12% stiffer front springs and 6% stiffer rear springs
- 20% stiffer rear stabilizer bar
- Stiffer front suspension bushings for quicker steering response and reduced understeer
New Track and Drag Technology
The Super Bee introduces several performance features to the SIXPACK Charger:
- Track Mode: Firmer damping, tighter steering, elevated shift points and track-specific traction and stability-control settings
- Drag Mode: Special suspension and driveline calibration designed to improve weight transfer and launch traction
- Torque Reserve: Builds turbo boost before launch to reduce lag and provide harder, more consistent starts
- Race Prep: Keeps the cooling fan running after shutdown to remove heat between runs
- Line Lock and Launch Control
- Expanded Performance Pages
Launch Edition Appearance
Three exterior treatments have been announced:
- Sucker Punch: Bright yellow-green paint with gloss-black Super Bee graphics
- Diamond Black: Black paint with Sucker Punch stripes, spoiler and rear-fascia accents
- Shady: Gray paint with subtle tone-on-tone gloss-black graphics
Inside, Dodge has fitted cloth high-back performance seats with embroidered Super Bee logos, Citrus Peel inserts, Silver and Sour Lemon contrast stitching, a leather performance steering wheel with larger paddle shifters and a dedicated Super Bee instrument-panel badge.
What Dodge Hasn’t Announced Yet
Several important details remain unanswered:
- MSRP and available options
- Total production quantity
- Ordering and delivery dates
- Whether both two-door and four-door versions will be offered
- Official top speed, despite Dodge calling it the “fastest” Super Bee
- Curb weight and published track-lap comparisons
Dodge says the Super Bee Launch Edition will be a limited-production model built at the Windsor Assembly Plant. Pricing, ordering and availability information will be announced later this year.
