I'm looking for wiring diagrams/schematics that will help me identify what modules are on what CAN/LIN networks and where in the car they might be routed to. Module location and networking connections, connector types and locations etc. Googling around on speculative and anecdotal info has been spotty and I don't feel like hacking up wiring on my new under warranty daily driver to reverse engineer that info. I have some limited information largely from the "Road Kill Nights" event videos of engineering cars (Rob Dahm's video was super helpful) that there may be some star connector under the passenger rear seat area. Dunno if our production cars will have that convenience but it's also hard for a dad with 2 car seats to get to anyway. Google AI tells me that there my be a lot of that under the driver dash knee area running to the security gateway module and I will need to dive into that to get my OBD2 GPS device out of my way anyway. I'm looking for any info that helps me identify where these CAN busses are accessible from for improving Quality Of Life (QOL) features in a way that anyone would be able to tackle without pulling the car apart down to the last bolt. Knowing what connectors are easy to find, easy to get to, easy to put a simple plug and play device onto the CAN BUS will be helpful. If you know something please post and collect that knowledge here to help the cause.
Would also like to know more about the attitude lighting wiring situation. I'm guessing there is a lighting module somewhere that handles the RGB lighting and it would have both a CAN or LIN connection to stereo and would keep the power draw from bein a stereo head unit issue (my assumption it could be built in for all I know). Wiring for that would have to plug into each door and probably 3+ dash segments so connectors to the driven side should be handy somewhere.
