what I don't get is there is a team of guys running a Dodge pick up that produces 850hp on the inline I-6. All that was done to the engine was changed out both Turbos and installed one after market on the engine.. No internal modes to engine plane stock. Go figure. Later RJDJust watched it. Basically telling us what we already know. lol It needs to be directed to the Hemi guys. Sadly IMO I don't think it matters how hard Dodge markets this to them. In the end in their eyes its not muscle if it doesn't have a V8. I really hope they bring out a great sounding six pack at roadkill nights. Heavy cam and everything. lol
John from Boosted motorsports made quite a bit more than that even though it was claimed to be 850hp as well. It will be interesting this year because Dodge gave several of the same influencers a new Charger Scat Pack to do what they want with it and he is one of them.what I don't get is there is a team of guys running a Dodge pick up that produces 850hp on the inline I-6. After watching this video, I feel a lot better about buying my 2026 Scat Pack Plus (considering that I've owned four Challengers in the past: from a 2009 RT Classic, then a 2014 SRT 392, followed by a 2016 Hellcat and finally a 2019 Hellcat Redeye). Except for the sound, that is! An excellent and (what appears to be an) unbiased video.
I watched that and was thinking, man, I do that and my car is in the 10s, and I'd be divorced. But my car would still be in the 10s!Just watched a video from John at boosted motorsports and he made a video showing how much weight he pulled out of it. He doesn’t have everything back in but the powertrain is and he is slightly under 3400lbs. Imagine the performance improvement just from that. Going to be wild.
