took my scat pack plus in for check engine light at 3200 miles for fuel trim code running rich. still waiting on results tech called and asked what gas I've been running I told him 93 and he said ok have heard back since hope to hear more tomorrow

So I was putting “93” in my SRT 392, that was required, 91 was not even an option for that engine in that trim. I was getting CEL any time I ran it hard…

Turns out that the gas wasn’t Top Tier Certified at the station by my house… so who knows what was up with it, weird detergents or not really 93?

Long story short, started going to only Top Tier Certified stations and the lights went away. Had a similar issues with my Wagoneer with the SO Hurricane and that gas station even though it was “93”.

I didn’t think this stuff actually mattered, but it does… Mopar tech was telling me he’d replaced many catalytic converters on less than one year old Wagoneers because the drivers were just dumping the cheapest octane fuel in it.

Yes, try and see what works good. I've been using one of these, that plugs into the OBDII port, to monitor gas. I have it set to show short- WhiteWhiteBrushed_912db70c-2af6-4255-a18c-46f74a97b927_960x.webpterm and long-term timing retard. It's amazing how different the "same" octane gas is!

They might be using different ethanol percentages in the gas. Since the Iran thing the government has allowed them to mix in more ethanol and this will change the gas quite a bit. This article explains it a bit: https://www.eia.gov/tools/FAQs/faq.php?id=27&t=4
