Should I try disconnecting 12 V in the trunk and letting it sit for 20 min. and then reconnect.

Are you talking about the main battery or the auxiliary 12 battery? Later RJD

The main battery on the left hand/ driverside rear I did disconnect waited 20 min & reconnected no results...should I try the smaller 12V. that is also in the middle of the truck floor?

That battery is to supply power to the interior components like lights u connect radio and the S/S mode. Later RJD

Would possibly disconnecting that battery and waiting 20 min then reconnecting it possibly reset the "check engine" and some of the other sensors that seem to be malfunctioning?

Disconnect both. Move both key fobs out of range. At least 25-30ft from the car before reconnecting the batteries. Also did you double check to make sure the front sensors are actually plugged all the way in and none of the harnesses got pinched or damaged putting the front back together?
