DashCam / Blackbox

Has anyone installed a full-time dashcam / blackbox on their 2026 Charger? If so, was it wired for 24/7 monitoring (parking mode)?

Check out "Dongar." They sell an adapter for this that gives you a USB-C port. It just plugs in to the harness in your mirror so you can always just unplug it if you don't want it any more. No damage.
I used one that was intended for the Daytona as they didn't officially support the Sixpack yet.

The only thing I'm not sure about is if they have one for the Sixpack that will work when the car is turned off. Mine does not, but I prefer it that way as I heard all the horror stories about 12V battery drain on the Daytonas.

I have a Redtiger dash cam installed. Have not hardwired for park mode yet but the 12v plug in the center console provides constant power. My dash cam will not go into park mode unless it’s hardwired in. It will stay in regular mode if plugged into 12v plug. I forgot to disconnect it when I brought it in for my first oil change. It was funny listening to the techs argue about what model the car was lol.

In my old car, but not the 2026 yet. It's a Vantrue and has an extra battery pack connected. I only use that for certain areas/events and not in the dead of winter.

Thanks. I went to the same shop that installed my dashcam in the Durango, but they were skeptical about working on the Charger since they had never seen one before. They referred me to another place that’s actually closer to my home.

The guy there specializes in many types of foreign cars in Korea. He tapped into the fuse box in the trunk, and the dashcam now runs 24/7 or until it senses the battery is getting low.

I have the same dashcam in my Durango and have never had any battery drain issues, even when I left it parked for about 30 days while on vacation.
