Dodge and other manufactures Changing oil

Yeah, the Hellcat boards posted this a couple? months ago and are panicking. Remember when GM stopped recommending synthetic altogether and made their own Dexos1 oil? I thought that it was just a semi-synthetic also. I'm glad that I got a bunch of it a few months ago. FYI, NAPA still has a $30 rebate, for 10 quarts, on our oil until the end of August!

Well, when they wanted $48/quart for the special Pennzoil, I kept doing mine at $4.50/quart.

I can't help but do my own oil, I never trusted these guys anyhow. Plus dealers want an arm/leg for an oil change. Just did my chargers oil at 4K miles.

I’d not do my own change until after the warranty up on the powertrain… first thing they’ll do is say no record of oil changes if 💩 breaks.

This can be true, depends on I guess where you are. Over here they know I do my own work so never had a problem. But I can understand that this is rare.
