Well latest rumors are showing 777-800+ hp for the super bee possibly coming to dealers and the Cat X 1100+ is for the race pack aka not street legal version like the Hustle stuff with the $60k Hemi. Which shows up on the direct connection website. The you tube rumors are going to drive me for the next few weeks. Just can’t look away

Happen to follow Cleetus McFarland on You Tube? He bought a Daytona Scat Pack a few weeks ago and dyno tested it this past week. It hit 686 HP but had a very strange looking power curve.

Yeah, that is actually how it looks on an EV, after initial rise to peak torque, power is actually constant and torque drops. And they had the torque scale wrong because they didn't know how the rpms work. Final overall ratio is 11:1 kind of like staying in 2nd gear all the way to 135 MPH. And in a "normal" car, by the time you are going 135, you are deep into higher gears, and your torque to the road is way down in the same way. And if they took it to the track first or charged up again, it would have gone quicker (same as the prep other guys do a the track on gas cars, and I wish they showed how launch mode was setup. I found not using it, and just rolling it on quickly was the fasted. I ran 11.4" multiple times in my Daytona and hit @124 in the ¼ mile.

Yeah, I hated his first video on the car. They hopped in without knowing how anything works, hooned it, stomped on it, "man this car sucks and has terrible mileage!"
The last video was more fair-- but I wasn't nervous about my glass roof until I saw his videos
Love the roof, and it's worth the weight to me, but if this thing starts cracking I'm gonna go insane.

I saw a quick reel of some idots doing a Tug of war with a Daytona and some sort of Truck. It was interesting how the front wheels of the Daytona smoked up far more than the rear. Weight distribution?? It could not pull the truck, but one way to do a burnout I guess

THAT would be Cleetus! It sounds like he really stirred up the EV community! He does make some good points though.
