No one has an exact price on the new Dodge Charger Sixpack yet but the general consensus seems to be that it will be between $40k and $50k starting price. I'm guessing it'll be way closer to $50k

Thoughts?

Pricing has been announced!

ModelPrice (Two-Door)Price (Four-Door)
2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack R/T (SO)$51,990$53,990
2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack Scat Pack (HO)$56,990$58,990
2026 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack (EV)$61,990$63,990

So there is just 2 grand difference between the two and four door. Four it is then.

I'm watching a YT video by Kelly Blue Book, and they said you can only get the 550 HP engine in the 2-door. Anyone else hear that?

I heard the same. I’m sure that’s just for initial offerings. There would be no reason why Dodge wouldn’t want more of your money.

There are several 2-doors that are in transit and on their way to San Antonio dealers.

It looks like EVERY place is offering a discount off the top. A dealer near Milwaukee, me, got 3 in and all have 3K to 5K off.

Crazy, just a sign of the times I guess. People really like the V8's I guess.... hard for them to swallow a powerful V6 pill.

No V6 😉

Honestly it’s over priced (like most cars). As much as I like it the base price doesn’t include a few options most people want which really drives the price up.

With leather and trying to keep it as reasonable as possible I’m at $66k. Then add sales tax and It’s $71k. For most that’s a $1000+ a month commitment not counting taxes.

I realize cars have really escalated and also improved but there’s a breaking point on a fun car for most people where they just won’t think it’s worth it anymore and will just get a DD SUV. The MSRP on my Scat Pack Shaker was $52k and paid $49k. I then bought a GT to DD and paid $30k.

With that said I’m going to buy one but the buyer pool isn’t going to be as large as a lineup that covers from $30k-$100k+.

I saw an interview with Tim justifying the elevated costs and he said “It’s really not more expensive” and listed some added content to justify the costs. He sounded like a rich person conflating value and cost.

My local dealer FINALLY got one in. He's offering $3K off a Plus model the second it got on the lot. It also has the bigger wheels/tires which I want.

When you start comparing the new Charger price structure with the previous Charger, I suppose the new one seems overpriced. I would just say that I think the new one is worth the difference in terms of interior quality, refinement, content and overall feel. Also, I can't think of any other cars that offer what the Charger does for a lower price.

In almost all respects, a $65,000 MSRP Charger equals or exceeds a BMW 540i that would be around $80,000. We know you can negotiate the Charger down substantially whereas BMW dealers are more difficult to deal with. I understand it might lack the "image" of a BMW but I don't care about image. The Charger is a helluva lot better value than a Mustang Dark Horse when the media insists on comparing it with.

Yeah, not to mention two different worlds. There is NO backseat in a Mustang, compared to this big one.
