Engine noise

Anybody experience what sounds like valve cladder under moderate acceleration? Wot i dont hear it. Normal cruising i dont hear it but if your about 35 percent throttle I can hear what sounds like valve cladder.. its had nothing but 93 ran in it since day one so I dont believe it's a fuel issue.

I’ve not heard a cladder per se, but I think the engines sounds quite dry at low rpm and low throttle compared to the SO hurricane in my Wagoneer.

So far I have not experience this. Only thing I've notice is a slight low trany whine in fist and second gear. Later RJD

I have this as well. Not in the morning when it is cool out but in the afternoon I can hear it when accelerating. It almost sounds like a diesel engine.
I will see if my dashcam picks up the noise tomorrow.

Can’t really hear anything other than like drone, do you have a timestamp where you think the noise is?

At the first stop light right after it turns green. I was hoping it would’ve picked it up better. The second stop light you can hear it as well.

I hear something that kind of sounds like a cricket clicker at the first, but don’t really hear that at the second, so I might not have a trained enough ear to know.

Yes, mine sounds like the posted video too. Approaching 2500 rpms, it startes to rattle (best description I can give is somewhat like rolling your tongue on the roof of your mouth). If I have music or the A/C on, it's drowned out.

I rented a gmc terrain this weekend to drive up to Nashville for the race and heard the same rattle as my charger does. Only when accelerating.
