So, did dodge just give up on making the roof sunshade? Did not enough people get a glass roof? It's tinted so I can survive without it but it would be a really nice option. Part of my decision to get the glass roof hinged on shades being available in the near future... If anybody knows an alternative option, let me know, but I haven't found one yet.

It wasn't coming up in any of my searches and the site I linked shows unavailable-- but that link works though. Thanks guys! Price is kinda crazy but I need this thing bad enough that I'll pay it 😑 Agreed it would have been nice if it was included with the glass roof.

Or even as an option if you ordered car. Later RJD

It really doesn’t get too hot with the tint, even over 90° outside, I forget it’s glass most of the time. I would like this if I was parked outside for an extended period of time or in the south, though.

I assume it’s probably not meant to be deployed while driving?

This is what I noticed today, car has been parked at work in direct sunlight even though it's only 77 degrees. 6 hours of direct sun and I feel like the tint that the glass roof has from factory does a good job. Granted I like things blacked out so having a cover for it just fits for me. If I was down south yeah that might be a different story lmao but I'd be curious if anyone down there (Texas, Arizona, etc etc) thinks of it.

Well I had the 24 EV with glass roof and yes I live in the south. My car back then sat out doors year round and yes we get 100 +degree temps and yes the car got hot, and the car was black. One of the reasons why I did not order on my 26 plus it adds extra weight even tho I no longer drag race just a fun street car now. Later RJD

It does a decent job. Most of the heat for me is coming from the windshield though (I only have a visor strip tint.)
My '15 charger had the interior warp from sitting in the sun during COVID so I'm trying to be careful with this one. Plus it's just nice to have the shade.

The glass roof moves? If it's laminated, it will get hot just like the windshield.

I think ceramic tint would be a better option. Did mine in 20%. Cuts a majority of the heat. And nothing to store in the car.

I did mine in Ceramic tint. Sure cuts down on the heat. I did 15% on sides and rear and 50% windshield Later RJD

I did ceramic tint 20% on sides, back and roof 35% on the windshield. It definitely cut on the heat and still get to enjoy the glass roof.

As the Tesla roof is the exact same I jumped on the sun shade for summer months. Used it one year and that was all. The tint is dark, the AC and remote start is good. No need for the shade at all save your money!

Yeah, I wonder how hot it gets compared to the windshield. I'd like to see someone compare with a laser temp gun.

How, uh, hmm, how much hair do you have? For those of us with less than the original amount, even a tinted glass roof is "less than comfortable" on a sunny day.
