Can anyone help find the part number for the lower front lip/splitter. I can find the carbon fiber option, but not the OEM gloss black. My dealer gave me a part number and said it came in 3 pieces. I argued with the as the splitter is one piece. I went ahead and ordered and I was right. I received the three pieces that are actually the parts that are below the headlights. Want to replace mine as it got some deep scratches from hitting road/tire debris from semi. Would love to go with the Carbon Fiber option, but mine is a lease so not going to spend $2400 on a car I’ll be giving back. Plus, I feel like I would need to do the Carbon Fiber rear spoiler if I did the front splitter, which is another $2400… I have found that dealers don’t know much about our cars!!!

I am pretty sure this part is available without having to purchase the entire structural components, but searching the Mopar site and the diagrams are confusing. It keeps telling me the part is the inner front front splitter which is not correct. AI is not helpful either. AI just makes stuff up.

I leased simply because it is a new gen and didn’t know what issues they might have, which appears to be many, and also hoping they would have more options in a few years, maybe even a Hemi…

26, 27 or 28?

I’m sure they would, but with a $1000 deductible, probably be on me anyway. I actually filed a claim because it also caused some chips in the lower bumper above the front lip, they are only allowing $1500 for the repair. Although I know it is not the proper fix, but I have a body shop friend that is going to do the best he can to repair the chips for now. I am a little leery at this point to remove the entire bumper for repainting due to all of the technology and issues that will come with that. The body shop says that the system would have to be recalibrated which can cost up to $1200 alone. Ridiculous, and who know, may get more chips in the paint over the next couple of years.

They allowed a $1K deductible on a new car? Wow. #26 seems out of stock a lot when I checked with my guy.

Here are a few pics of the damage. Not sure if you can tell, but it also damaged the plastic mesh grill. That certainly will require removing the bumper as well. The part is not expensive, but they do want a $100 core fee. Assume if I order from a dealer they could get the core fee removed, but again, I am not comfortable having the entire bumper removed right now. I live in a small town so not a lot of body shop options. I am going to get a better estimate and if insurance agrees, I may have them cut me a check and have everything fixed right before I turn in the lease. I am just trying to get a cosmetic repair for now and would really like to replace the front gloss black lip. Bottom line, it just sucks. I hate seeing it every time I go get in the car!!!
Yeah, these part numbers and the diagram are really confusing. I saw a guy from another forum that posted a picture of a front lip by itself as well as a Carbon Fiber. They are for sale, but I don’t think he wants to mess with shipping. That’s why U know this part is available.

That could be. I’m guessing this piece gets damaged often. Not as low as a Mustang, but still not a ton of clearance. Mine was not due to clearance, just stupid shredded tire debris from a semi that was hit by the car in front of me and then hit my car. Nothing I could do to avoid.

Holy cow, those are more than scratches! You can probably touch up the white, but the grill is the worst. You'll need, 24, 25, and a 28 at minimum. I say an easy $5K to fix that right. Happen to get the truck info? I've already had places pay me direct for something that fell from their load. That's against the law.

No truck info. Didn’t see the truck that has the blow out.

Hmmm. I felt like I found that part for under $100.

Are they doing the claim under collision or comprehensive?
Comp/liability as it was a no fault claim and no other parties involved, except for the car that hit it first and flung it into my cari hi
Even mail order, the grill shows $400 - $700 depending upon what other parts are needed.
I think that is both upper and lower grills. Who knows…

Either way your going to be messing with sensors and not good as one person here already found out. You most likely will need to take it in if re placing parts. Later RJD
