Man, it’s crazy how hardcore the online hate is for the i6. I personally never had a Hemi, so I don’t know that feeling of disappointment from the Hemi guys, with it going to a 6 cyl. But holy hell the Hemi boys really despise this new gen lol. For me, drive what u like. Who cares what the next dude buys or likes. I personally never would have bought one if it had a Hemi. Just my own opinion.

That’s cool man. Seems to be a very rare mindset. I think the previous gen’s are awesome looking cars. But also think this new gen is great looking. I personally prefer easily tunable cars (TT, SC, Procharge, etc) over purely NA cars. But I am just a car guy period. I like cool looking cars. Drop a pic of ur 2016 if u have one.

I enjoy both, the I6 pretty much impressed me with its capabilities and being from the JDM scene, its ability to upgrade power is pretty good. Anyone that tells me that "Dodge stole BMW's homework" basically proves to me they have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to engines. The only thing I can fault Dodge for here is the marketing when it came to the EV/I6, they dropped the ball there, and initial pricing.

I still have my 2022 392 Shaker 6 speed and have no plans to get rid of it. I’ve had my six pack RT since June 20th and have over 6k miles without a single glitch. The I-6 Hurricane is an awesome engine, I’ll probably never buy anything with a Hemi again. The SO version makes the same torque as a 392, but at 2500rpm vs 4400rpm and it’s over a broader range of rpm. The crybabies whining about the I-6 have never driven one, and probably aren’t in the market for a new car anyway. They just gotta have something to bitch about- delusional stuff like the turbos will explode, it doesn’t have a dipstick, it’s too heavy, etc… Meanwhile, they’re driving around in a clapped-out V-6 Charger or Challenger, which by the way, accounted for over 70% of all sales for the prior generation cars. And probably a higher percentage for the Chrysler 300, which I also own. It’s a 2017 300 S AWD with over 160k miles, runs great and gets decent gas mileage, and now seems really primitive compared to the new LB platform.

I would say they stole the homework but turned it dodge. The Hurricane is the exact same basic cylinder geometry as the S58. 84 x 90mm I think Dodge grabbed a S58 and said how can we make this better.
