Hello all - figured I'd share my issue here: '26 Sixpack R/T Plus - ~650 miles, two weeks old....
Pulling out of my lot at work (a left turn across one lane) - about half throttle - transmission seems to slip - drive completely drops out as I am turning into traffic (basically neutral). Shifter blinking, message to "put car into park, then select gear". I had to coast to the shoulder and turn the car off completely and restart in order for it to go into any gear. Who knows what would have happened if there was actually traffic coming. Anyway, CEL stays lit.
It drives ok afterwards to the dealership, although I'm now nervous to give it much gas...
Dealership finds codes P0248-00 Turbocharger/Supercharger Wastegate Actuator 2 Performance, B2204-87ECU Configuration Mismatch / Missing Message, U0402-00 Implausible Data Received From TCM, U0422-00 Implausible Data Received From BCM, C2226-00TCM Disabled ECU.
Dealership updated/flashed the TCM and BCM and cleared the codes. They basically told me we need to drive it for a while to see if any codes come back. Either one of their shop guys can take it home for the long weekend(no thanks!), or I can take it, drive it a bit, and see what happens. So I did.
After around 40 miles or so the CEL reappeared, although nothing dramatic happened this time. My cheap scanner now only shows P0248 stored (Turbocharger/Supercharger Wastegate Actuator 2 Performance). I take it back tomorrow morning.
Really hoping this isn't the start of something long and drawn out.... will post when I get an update...
