Okay this bugs the heck out of me. My wife RHO I was looking at and seen how the so called “Fresh Air Intake” is designed better for the Hurricane how it Y’s off. Same engine etc as the Scat family. On the RHO the intake silencer is also before the Y so you can add Piping or universal piping to open it up for a little HP gain with better throttle response... The RHO on the Pages/Forms shows it’s a small increase on the dynos as well. Well our Silencer is made into the not so smooth Y as it’s almost a 45 degree going to the turbos. It’s just not flow I would’ve designed for our cars. I was looking at swapping them out but the RHO one is way higher on the RHO and also you would have change tubing out for the wastegate and Vacuum lines to the RHO but it still would not work. So I’m just knocking my head around figured I throw this out there to performance guys and the folks wanting hear them little guys scream lol! Couple images showing it on parts catalog and little picture showing the silencer baffles (screen shot from my BOV adapter video)

Until you do flow tests, or dyno, you can't assume it'd better. We have no clue what happens to that air getting ingested do we?

Being forced induction flow helps and also seeing gains in the RHO so it shows proof. And yes we all know what it does as it’s forced induction and the MAP sensor is after the turbos so nothing will be out of wack for stock, imo. Also when tuning becomes more available it will help a lot. But even looking at the airbox common sense takes over about air being split. Now could it have a Y inside the box? Maybe as I have not split it open yet lol! And the people wanting to hear those little guys spoil will and I would love to hear that more as well.

I will follow what Satera Tuning says and decides. They are testing things live. I "thought" that they said the stock air box was ok w/o extra tuning. Don't quote me though.

The RHO and other Trucks have a MAF sensor which the Charger does not use, Also the Charger has to split into a Y somewhere as it has to feed both turbos with filtered air.
