Surging

Does anybody else experience what feels like the engine is surging while cruising around 60 mph ?

There are a couple of posts here about a pinging noise but I haven't seen any surging posts yet.

Can you explain it a little more?

At lower speeds in bumpy parking lots I've had the engine pulse a bit. It feels like the traction control is bugging in the lower gear, but I'm 80% sure it's just my foot bouncing on the sensitive gas pedal because of the suspension bouncing. I've never had that happen at high speeds.

I notice the slight surging around 40 to 45mph. Note noticeable at slower speed. It's been like that since I got to about 100 miles on the car. See if more folks have this issue. Have not really been concerned about it yet. wait and see what happens. Later RJD

I notice it at slower speeds and taking off. It's hard to take off slow and smoothly without the little jerks. It's slightly annoying. It's the throttle tuning I think. In sport mode it's difficult to cruise at 5-10 mph when traffic is backed up. It can be quite jerky.

I drive in Auto mode and as I said mine is in the 40 to 45mph range not noticeable at slower speeds.

I often find myself having this issue. It's annoying and only seems to happen when the car is first put into Sports mode and still "warming up". After a while it seems to smooth out.

Start/Stop on or off? Could that be it from a stop?
