The new Charger feels like a rare find on the open road…

I’ve had my Charger since December 2025 and have never seen another one on the road. Just made a 2500 mile trek from Oklahoma to Florida and back. Saw hundreds of older model Chargers and Challengers, but no Gen 8’s. Always get lots of head turns and even some older models pulling up beside me on the highway to check it out. Not sure if it’s because of some of the new models having a few issues or bad marketing, but I like it. I did find an older one and has to stop and take a few pics…

Also had a Challenger pull up beside me and appeared to want to see what the car could do. Got up to 115 to stay with him and the wife said to cool it…

Just losing drag and track mode when dealer did flash update due to CEL. Going to have dealer revisit this issue at next oil change.

I don't think we where meant to have the drag and track. This was an EV item and They pretty much copied the soft ware from the EV to the six pack and found the mistake and took it away from us. It sounds like they may make it an option . Just my guess. Later RJD

Dodge cares did drop a little tease that they MIGHT be doing something regarding drag/track modes for us, but no movement yet from Dodge. If they are I'd expect some kind of announcement on the 7th or 8th. If they don't announce anything on those days I'll probably give up hope on it
