Track and drag mode no longer available after dealer software update due to engine light coming on.

My dealer does not seem to have the knowledge to fix this issue. I believe there are updates available and would like to find a dealer who has experience fixing this issue.

Built 11/2025. White Knuckle Scat Pack Plus. Pretty much all the bells and whistles. Demonic Red Leather High Back Performance Seats, Black Top package with full glass roof, upgraded stereo system, 20 inch x 11 inch wheel and tire package. I drive a Ram 2500 Diesel, Limited Long Horn Edition. Replaced my wife’s Jeep with the new Charger. I drive it more than her!! Love it, but not liking the software issues. This is our first “sports car”. I drove the Dark Horse before purchasing the Charger. Liked the sound of the Mustang, but decided on the Charger. Smoother ride, more clearance, and more room for my 6’4” frame. Also more room for a long trip.

Seeing how your car was built In 11/25 you need updates
Hopefully your dealer should be able to do. Dealer gets up grade notices. Talk to the technician

Yeah, they did an upgrade due to engine light at 1500 miles. That’s when I lost the modes. My dealer seems clueless on any new updates to fix the issue. Going to call a few other dealers to see if they are more knowledgeable and can hopefully fix.

I’ve never had the drag or track modes. Nobody was supposed to have them in the sixpacks, yet anyways, from my understanding. Likely a bug or code left in from sharing software with the EV.

The EV with track pack is the only car that’s officially supposed to have these from my understanding.

It will likely be late build ‘26 or ‘27 package or in some other higher performance trim.

I’d love to have those modes, but I’m not holding my breath. Frankly, I’m not sure the car is engineered mechanically to handle much more aggression in shifting patterns than what sport already does.

Thanks. The later builds have these modes and the set up screen is different than mine that was built on 11/25. I’ll let you know if there is a fix once I find a dealer that knows more than the dealer I bought from.

11/25 which is strange because it sounds like production didn’t start until 12/25.

Mine was built March 2026. Never had the extra drive modes even before dealer flashed an RRT update unless they were only available with “the double tap trick”, I learned about that later, but pretty sure that’s a bug.

You have track and drag modes in the drive modes menu? If so, can you share a pic so I can show the dealer and have them look into it, maybe your uconnect version as well?

They are not showing in the menu. I could get there using the hidden mode feature, but that no longer works. They are completely gone.

Defaulting to some generic mode, Isn't "Corse" Italian for "Race"? I know the old 2012ish uConnect 2? units would default to Chrysler, then detect the vin, and change colors/splash screen... to match the car.
