Decided to start with aftermarket blow off valves on my vehicle as the first upgrade before the JB4 (down the road). Picked up the Turbosmart Dual-Port VR32's for the HO Hurricane. Hoping to get these installed this weekend, will post an update here when I do if anyone is interested in this.

Shoutout to 797 Performance for the quick shipping and the swag.

Install is complete, took about 40 minutes without instructions. Pretty straightforward overall. The only hiccup was the top diverter; the hoses up there are really snug. I pulled one T30 screw to get the clearance I needed, and once the valve was seated, everything went in smoothly.

I’ve got the setup running 50/50 right now. The spool‑up and whoosh are definitely there, just not super pronounced at this setting. What I am noticing is that it’s managing boost way better than the stock diverters. There’s noticeably more stability, which should give me some extra headroom once I throw a JB4 on it later. Solid upgrade in my opinion.

I wanted to grab some sound clips, but it’s pretty loud in my area at the moment. I’ll get some recordings later, the whoosh/spool is present, just subtle in 50/50 recirc/air.

Next on the list is dropping in a new air intake once they’re available, and hopefully finding a cat‑back that doesn’t cost a fortune. We’ll see how that hunt goes.
