Welcome to the site. I wonder if you might pick up an OBD2 scanner and look to see if you are getting any knock retard?

I'd almost say that is NOT happening unless there is something seriously wrong. Those engine bays are so tight, and with all the sensors to prevent that, it would be a rarity if you did hear that.
